There were some variables that hadn’t been declared, that Excel 2007 is more fussy about. I have also removed calls to microtimer that sometimes causes problems. The revised version (8.03a) is now uploaded. Please let me know if that works for you.

Still doesn’t work. It’s time to upgrade Office 🙂

Andre – upgrading office would be the simplest solution, but I will have another look. It should work in old versions.
Does it crash immediately at start up?
          Any error messages?

Yes, crash is immediately at start up and no specific errors.

I found some more microtimer code that I have removed. If that’s not the problem, I don’t know.
        Latest version is now uploaded.

The only other possibility is that being connected to the “Insider” updates might be causing the problem. I’ll copy to another machine and try saving from that, but not tonight.
I’ll post a message here when its updated.
          Thanks for your feedback.

I am not a structural guy but am interested in using the sheets for the design of bored piles to EC2 (Circular section). The UK national annex requires that the concrete material factor is increased by a further factor of 1.1 to 1.65. I do not see where i can do this in your sheets ?

The circU fucntion does not seem to agree with other software I use unless i input the unfactored design value for Fc ( Fck x eta x Alpha cc ) Fck x 0.9 x 0.85 so for C28 concrete I input 21.42. This then gives me similar results (for material factor =1.5)

The default design factors should be as in the UK national annex, but I will check and document that better.
If you wanted to use different factors you would need to factor the input concrete strength, but you shouldn’t need to do that for the standard UK factors. If you could copy an example to my Gmail account (dougaj4) I will have a look.
